The self-paced nature of this program provides users with access to calming relaxation exercises designed to offer support during particularly stressful moments.

The educational curriculum within the program addresses typical difficult behaviors that can overwhelm caregivers, offering insights into potential strategies for handling such complex situations.

The app features concise video lessons focusing on various difficult behaviors, such as agitation, aggression, anxiety, confusion, hallucinations, irritability, not recognizing family members, repetition, suspicion, and wandering.

The program integrates straightforward techniques centered around Virtual Patient strategies, involving role-playing scenarios featuring individuals with dementia and their caregivers.

The foundation of the Caring Response curriculum derives from prior research conducted by Photozig, Inc. and Stanford University, in collaboration with Dr. Gallagher Thompson, Dr. Thompson, and their colleagues. The aim is to impart valuable skills to families navigating the challenges of caregiving, drawing from the positive impact observed in previous research endeavors.
